The teachers told us that the children participated with great enthusiasm: Many came to daycare on foot, by scooter, by bike, or by public transportation, and were thus able to experience firsthand how they can make a real contribution to climate protection in their everyday lives.
The topic was also brought to life within the daycare center. During morning circle time, the children discussed together how they can protect their environment—for example, by sorting trash, saving electricity, or using water wisely.
They also got creative: Together, the children made a nature-themed memory game using leaves, flowers, and other materials they had collected. Healthy eating and dental care were also explored in a playful way. Parents were actively involved and made aware of the importance of sustainable mobility.
See you next year!
